[Photos 2 Share] Sunset and Moon

One of my cousin's cars must be started and move around every single day, or else, the battery will die. This issue occurred recently. Indirectly, the task is for me, since my cousin is out station for his job. Before my dinner and before the accelerator was stepped, I've brought along my camera with me.

While I was enjoying the ride, alone, I've noticed the day is getting darker. That's not the thing... Wahlah, look at the sunset photo below. I wanna share with everyone because I personally think the sky toning is simply awesome. After all, it has been some time I did not capture sunset.

Image 1: Sunset.

Whaddaya think of the sunset? After spammed some sunset photos, I went back to wait for 12am. Why? I bet many of you have received a circular e-mail or in Facebook perhaps, it was regarding "2 moons on 27th of August".

Anyway, let me quote the message, as below:

27th Aug the Whole World is waiting for.............

Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting August. It will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. This will culminate on Aug. 27 when Mars comes within 34.65M miles off earth. Be sure to watch the sky on Aug. 27 12:30 am. It will look like the earth has 2 moons.

The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287.
And so, I've kept reminding myself and some of my close friends about the "2 moons". Due to excitement, I went out at 12am to stare at the moon. As a result, excitement turned out to be full of disappointment. Wasted nearly 45 minutes and I just get... nothing special though......

This is what I can to see, just a moon and stars, but there's a super bright star near to the moon (bottom). Could it be Mars? Hmm...

Mars oh Mars, I do really hope that I can see you as big as the moon with my sexy naked eyes. One day and some day perhaps. =)
